SPRING JIG posted his best effort so far when stepped up to today’s distance at Kempton a week ago and narrowly beaten in second. He’s preferred to Jive Talking, who returned a losing favourite over 7f at Newcastle back in July though should stay this longer trip. Rake's Progress is another likely improver upped in distance having finished well over 7f on his debut but the remainder have shown little to so far and are hard to recommend.
