In depth

Verdict

Paul Cole's string is in good form and he can gain another success here with Opera Crown, Fever, Flamed Amazement and Bish Basher my be the best alternatives. Opera Crown put in a solid first effort when chasing home Proponent in a decent looking race at Newbury. He makes a quick return to the racecourse and the hint should be taken. Fever has not really stepped up on the promise he displayed first time out, but on the whole his form isn't too bad and he should be involved in the finish. Flamed Amazement is a nicely bred son of Hernando and Paul Blockley's debutante Bish Basher is a daughter of Zilzal and both should be monitored closely in the betting. Of the others Here Comes Buster and Tension Point are also worth a mention, but Opera Crown should improve for that first effort and he gets our vote.
