In a tight handicap to close with GREEN VELVET gets the percentage call after a good return run leaving Kyllachy Storm and Mazzola in the live dangers category. A dual winner last term on the all-weather just over a year ago the pick should be better for his return run last time. He does go well enough on the turf and with Seb Sanders booked he should run a big race. Kyllachy Storm kicked on from his seasonal bow to win a six furlong Kempton handicap on his last start. He has a good record at this track and he looks to have every chance again. Mazzola looks the leading light of Milton Bradley's three in the race but his run of near misses is beginning to get frustrating. That said he's off a new career low mark and a change of yard may also help. Bo McGinty just seems to refuse to get in front these days and until he shows more we'll always side elsewhere while Rifflessione is another for the list after winning at this meeting last term but with him now better on the synthetic surfaces we turn to Green Velvet.
