In depth

Verdict

TOYBOX ended last year with a victory over track and trip and will be sharper for a recent reappearance. Jonathan Portman’s mare may just edge this ahead of Night Eagle, who also won over course and distance when opening his account last month. The latter is preferred to Ripon plating race winner Love Of Zoffany while Boy George has been thereabouts lately still looking for his first win after 23 starts.
