    Verdict

Happy Forever was not a cheap purchase and having been supported on her debut she can land this pot; Always There and Sterling Sound make it to the shortlist. The selection ran fairly well at Kempton where she was a tad keen, and the drop in trip today looks a good move; this Dr Fong filly should handle the ground and is selected accordingly. On The Feather and Always There have both shown ability in two starts to date, whilst Yanza and Smokey Ryder could easily improve on their debut runs. Sterling Sound is very consistent and now dropped in class sets a good standard, however she probably wouldn't want too much rain. At a price keep an eye on Walter Swinburn's newcomer Rathlin Light, however it is Happy Forever who gets the nod.
