      Verdict

      Comptonspirit steps up a grade after scoring at Pontefract last time but should be thereabouts once again despite a 4lb higher mark. However, the less exposed PICABO makes more appeal as she was having only her third start of the season when winning at Newmarket last week. There should be more to come and Lucy Wadham's filly gets the vote. Best Be Careful is back on a winning mark now and went close at Windsor last time, while a return to fast ground will suit Sharpened Edge.
