John Ryan's stable is going well and Plucky Dip may be capable of following up his Kempton success off a 7lb higher mark, though fourth Prim And Proper should get a lot closer today. Saxon Princess, slowly away at Warwick last time, might be interesting in her first handicap but Synonym was beaten in a claimer on her latest start and Tunnel Tiger took a backward step at Lingfield earlier this month. Jersey Cream started favourite for a handicap at Kempton in September but was always in rear and hasn't been seen since. CALEDONIA LAIRD has had no luck in-running in two starts on the all-weather this year. He did show some ability in better races last season and doesn't look badly treated today so could run well at generous odds against equally exposed rivals.
