      Verdict

Kinks continued the good early-season form of Mick Channon’s two-year-olds when just beaten at Kempton earlier this month. He looks to have every chance of going one better if breaking smartly from his outside draw but SIR VICTOR has the inside berth and the speed in his pedigree to take advantage. He’s a half-brother to four winners between 5f and 7f and his sire gets plenty of speedy types. Raskolnikov is only Ralph Beckett’s second two-year-old runner of the year and will probably need further but the yard is already in cracking form and it would be no surprise if Broadhaven Dream and Temple of Wonder had some pace.
