Roger Charlton's Golden Rock is bound to be popular with backers following an improved effort on the Polytrack at Lingfield earlier this month racing off just a 1lb higher mark today but he may be better over further and preference is for FULL VICTORY, who gets the vote over Perfect Class. The Clive Cox-trained filly has been given a chance by the handicapper having slipped to a mark of 66 following his latest start behind Very Well Red over course and distance and she has to be considered. Anabel King's Daniel Thomas was not disgraced behind French Art at Pontefract last month and he makes more appeal than El Libertador, who remains a maiden after 16 starts and has given little sign of encouragement. Dichoh has been running consistently well in claimers on the Polytrack of late and has claims back in a handicap on turf but a better bet looks to be Full Victory, who lost no caste in defeat over course and distance when a close second to Compton Blue last week and he can go one better today racing off the same mark.
