Last year’s winner Aye Aye Skipper is still 7lb higher and was behind Aqua Libre and Feel The Vibes over course and distance last month. The top weight has every chance of following up while Sir Jamie proved he handled Turf with a close-up third at Brighton two runs ago. Caledonia Laird has a decent record here and shouldn’t be far away, though could have been better drawn. TALLY’S SON was a surprise winner from out of the handicap at Chepstow but is only a pound higher here and Cameron Noble again takes off 5lb. He may be worth sticking with, though Edge and No Approval also have the ability to figure in a race like this.
