VALMINA bids for a hat-trick of C&D victories and it looks a distinct possibility. He beat a big field on both previous occasions and appeared to score a shade cosily on his latest start. Ginzan also arrives on a hat-trick after a couple of wins over the minimum trip, though he's stepping up a grade here, while first-time blinkers did the trick for Ivor's Princess when she returned a 20/1 winner at Salisbury last month and she could figure. Comptonspirit can race off a lower mark than when winning over track and trip last August but Swendab will have to cut across the field from a wide draw if he's to take up his preferred front-running role. Peace Seeker landed a treble on the Polytrack last season but has yet to prove as good on this surface.
