In depth

Verdict

War Glory had The Warrior well beaten when springing a surprise at Kempton last week but has gone up 4lb and was readily brushed aside by MASHAM STAR (NAP) at Windsor at the end of June. The latter is only a pound worse off and is a typically tough Mark Johnston handicapper who showed he wasn’t finished for the year when fourth at Chelmsford on Monday. Daira Prince has found life tough since winning at Nottingham and Ripon at the start of the summer but he can’t be ruled out and Bid Adieu has been really consistent since joining Richard Hughes and reverting the Flat.
