In depth

Verdict

North Pole belatedly got off the mark at Brighton last month but was then readily brushed aside here when odds-on. He looks worth opposing off the same mark as Unison looked to be on an upward curve when scoring at Ffos Las and New Falcon has been knocking on the door. FREEPORT probably hasn't quite lived up to expectations since dead-heating at Windsor in May but wasn't beaten far at Pontefract last time, despite blowing the start. This looks a bit easier than recent tasks and he gets the nod. Saint Jerome may not have stayed 1m2f at Brighton last time but looks vulnerable off his current mark.
