      Verdict

      MISS FIREFLY has been running well without getting her head in front against better horses of late. She's joint top rated here but Ron Hodges' mare could well find her way back into the winner's enclosure. Welcome Approach remains 5lb higher than when scoring at this track in April, but Running Mate has claims on his latest second on the turf at Lingfield. Jolly Ranch beat My Meteor over 5f here last week but hasn't raced over this longer trip since his debut back in 2008. Cathcart Castle and Pinball showed signs of a return to form last time, however, and could figure.
