Verdict

Colour Image has been gelded since facing some tough tasks at Meydan at the start of the year. If fully wound-up, he could outclass these but we’ll take him on with the less-exposed SEGLA, who met all kinds of trouble in-running on debut at Thirsk so did well to finish second – he’ll know more today. Samaritaine hinted at ability at Newbury and is another likely improver but Noble Queen was beaten almost 10 lengths when second at Lingfield.
