In depth

Verdict

All of these step up in distance but Sir Mark Prescott's NOT SO GENTLE is expected to improve the most for the longer trip. He makes his handicap debut and is preferred to Go Marnie, who posted a better effort over a mile at Deauville last month. Masterson has been getting steadily closer and Captain Gerald was beaten less than a length at Chelmsford last time. Efron was also second over 7f at Lingfield recently and is related to a winner over 1m2f.
