In depth

Verdict

PLANSINA (NAP) has won three times here including this contest last year. Racing off a lower mark today having finished runner-up on the all-weather recently, she makes most appeal. Blue Hero landed a double here last autumn and will be sharper for last month’s return while Spirit Warning steps up in distance on his debut for a new yard having slid down the weights. Doonbeg Farmer has yet to win on Turf while Persuasive Powers has more scope than most of these.
