Shosolosa has been run well in similar company to this and looks set for another place at least, but we will take a chance on Ribbons Of Gold, with Barnbrook Empire also expected to take a hand in the finish. Jamie Osborne's filly hasn't raced since April when showing good early speed before fading to finish close up sixth to Polly Alexander. That was a promising effort and the trainers patience may pay off as this does not look the strongest of events. Shosolosa started her career in a hot maiden at Newbury before finishing runner up on her next two outings. Her claims are there for all to see and she will be a tough nut to crack. Barnbrook Empire is improving with every run and her recent third behind Sweet Coincidence is good enough to make her a leading player here. It is a race that is difficult to weigh up, but Ribbons Of Gold may just be up to landing first prize.
