Verdict
Nicola Currie is the regular partner of THE BIG LAD and her mount has been narrowly beaten in his last two starts on the all-weather. Richard Hughes' charge has managed to win five times on the sand and looks set for his first Turf victory in a moderate contest. Classic Pursuit has also won five races including at Chelmsford last week so he's respected as is Powerful Dream, who would have been placed here last week but for being impeded and unseating her rider. Fredricka had no chance in a Listed contest here last month but her earlier form on the all-weather puts her in the frame.
