Ryan¿s Future has the most consistent form in the field and can take this at the expense of Classic Blue and Merrymadcap. The selection is the winner of six races and has been knocking on the door of late having finished second twice in his last three runs. He has run and won off a much higher mark than this in the past and therefore looks potentially well treated. His last win came eighteen months ago off a mark of 78 so if running up to scratch he will prove difficult to beat. Classic Blue runs off the same mark as when winning a handicap on the all weather at Kempton on his latest outing. All his best form is on an all weather surface and although he has had three runs on the turf in his early career he showed little and therefore he does have a question mark hanging over his head. Merrymadcap meanwhile has been a good servant to connections and is lingering on a mark that he is more than capable of winning off. His seasonal reappearance caught the eye when second to Royal Amnesty and if transforming that form to the turf he holds a realistic chance. But for the winner we return to Ryan¿s Future.
