In depth

Verdict

Loucal won narrowly at Catterick in April but has beaten at Kempton and Redcar since. He has claims in this, however, as does Rock Diamond if bouncing back from a modest effort at Lingfield on Tuesday. Culture Trip makes his handicap debut but his best run so far came over 1m4f while Beautiful Story doesn't appear to be improving. SOVEREIGN POWER can only improve on his comeback third at Kempton and was quite highly tried as a two-year-old. He should be good enough to concede weight to these.
