Like so many from her yard, LISMORE improved for the step up in trip when returning a clear winner over 2m at Chepstow. This shorter distance shouldn’t prove a problem for Sir Mark Prescott’s filly and she can defy a penalty and reverse earlier form at Ripon with the runner-up Nikolayeva. The latter has since struggled over today’s trip, albeit in better company than this, but Lord Warburton looks a threat having won over 1m4f at Ripon and is preferred to both Sulochana and Russian Rumour.
