A winner over hurdles in May, Limelighter has won on the Flat and doesn’t look badly treated. He will want to make this a thorough test of stamina and that may not suit the in-form Tribuna Uffizi, who beat DEVORGILLA at Windsor last month but is now 11lb worse off less Benoit De La Sayette’s claim. The top weight does appear to hold Easy Equation on his latest victory here over 1m4f, however. Taqseemaat is still a maiden but could go well at a price if in the mood while Alkhattaaf has been running well at Chepstow this year.
