Pongo Twistleton was only beaten a length in this grade at Salisbury and Primobella only gave best inside the final furlong over course and distance last month. Fishergate was beaten less than a length at Leicester and Harry's Endeavour won here in April, though has failed twice since off this mark and has a bit to find with Pongo Twistleton on recent form. A few of these have been keeping better company including Le Tissier, not far behind Queen's Vase second Harbour Law at Sandown. ROYAL MAHOGANY could only stay on at the one pace after making the running over 1m2f at Yarmouth so should be suited by this further step up in trip. He's still coming down the weights so gets a tentative vote.
