      Verdict

      This should go to the progressive BEAUTY PAGEANT. She's been upped another 4lb for a close-up second at Doncaster last month, but on the plus side, she's dropping down a grade and that should see Ed McMahon's filly get her head back in front. Atlantic Cycle has her first run for a new yard having won a claimer at Musselburgh a fortnight ago but has to prove she's as effective on firm ground, while Adventure Story will find life tough if she makes one of her frequent slow starts back over this shorter trip. The Jailer and Athwaab make most appeal of the remainder.
