In depth

Verdict

Poet's Princess has only won a novice race so far but slips further down the handicap and drops in class today. La Fortuna rattled-up a four-timer earlier this year, including a victory over 5f here last month, but was beaten at Catterick recently. Powerful Dream has won here before and went close at Wolverhampton recently but it could be the turn of BELLEVARDE (NAP) in this as she found only one too good in a higher grade sprint at Windsor last week and should find this easier. Evening Starlight won off a lower mark over track and trip last term and has scored at Lingfield subsequently.
