        Verdict

Saborido, Sunny Future and FITZWILLY are all previous course and distance winners with the first two named former winners of this contest off lower marks. But Mick Channon's six-year-olds gets a tentative vote today as the stable is going well and Silvestre De Sousa is a significant jockey booking. Notnowsam has been chasing so may not have the pace for this but Midtech Star won at Lingfield and Wolverhampton in March, though previous efforts on Turf have left much to be desired. Linguine is on a winning mark but hasn't raced on the Flat since 2014.
