      Verdict

      It's hard to make a strong case for any of these in a poor maiden with neither of the newcomers making much appeal on breeding either. MARGOT ROSE made her debut in better company at Newbury and gets a token vote on that basis. Classic Seniority finished a bit closer at Windsor without ever looking like winning and the same comment applies to Activation's latest run at Brighton. Fast Scat was placed at the same track last month but went backwards at Lingfield on her latest start.
