Verdict

Northofthewall has a shout back over a shorter trip today after placing at Ascot recently but the prevailing ground is a worry for him and that also applies to Millers Bank, a runner-up at Fakenham last month. Vienna Court ran well in soft going at Ffos Las on her debut over hurdles and faced a much tougher task in Class 2 company at Newbury last time. She can figure back at this level but Donald McCain’s yard has won three of the last five renewals and YES NO MAYBE SO (NAP) also has strong claims having found only Kingrullah too good in the soft at Sedgefield on his hurdling bow - the winner has subsequently boosted the form.
