Magical Liaison continues to hold his form and looks good enough to outpoint Mensch here, with Adalpour the one likely to give them most to do. The Evan Williams yard have been enjoying a good summer and Mensch has played his part in that, with staying successes at Hereford and Southwell, on the latter occasion giving Magical Liaison a five length beating in receipt of 4lb. However, with a 9lb pull here the six-year-old looks to have a great chance of reversing the placings. Of the remainder, Adalpour has shown some sort of form over distances of late, but he has still been soundly beaten. He will run up to his mark once again here, but should not be good enough to do anything other than chase home the other pair, and we prefer Magical Liaison to get it right this time.
