VALLEY VIEW went up 9lb for scoring easily at Towcester and had a battle to complete the double in very heavy ground at Exeter. Both victories were over 2m4f but he has given the impression that today's trip is what he wants and a hat-trick beckons. Bold Ransom landed a class 2 handicap at Haydock but has struggled subsequently after being raised 9lb while it's difficult to know what to make of the ex-French Marescsou on his first start for Venetia Williams though entries at a higher level suggest he is well regarded. Fabalu likes it around here and is well handicapped if anywhere near his best but Daldini hasn't won for two years.
