Amadeus and Pink Harbour could prove to be the principals here, with the vote going to the first-named. The selection carries a seven-pound penalty for his very good recent Chepstow success but is on a roll, comes here in good heart, could still be reasonably handicapped, his rider is in very good form and he looks set to play a leading part in this contest. Pink Harbour is also on the up and is set to go up by seven pounds in the near future so is arguably well handicapped. She too has been in very good heart of late. Nagaro showed form in France but needs to improve over fences on his British form to feature. Barton Baron made a winning debut over fences, and holds Terrible Tenant on that run, and he should be improving so is entitled to respect. Englishtown makes his chasing debut but seemed to find little under pressure when racing over hurdles. Overall, then, once again, Amadeus gets our nomination.
