In depth

Verdict

Dead Right has a bit to prove on his reappearance while The Vollan, placed twice over hurdles last month, is tackling fences for the first time. IRISH PROPHECY couldn’t follow up his Newton Abbot victory at Southwell but is clearly better over fences than hurdles and won’t be far away as long as the going doesn’t deteriorate. Haul Away was let down by his jumping at Stratford last month but will have needed that run and shouldn’t be written off just yet.
