Verdict

A P McCoy, who has just one booked ride earlier, hangs around to ride Jonjo O'Neill's newcomer Suit Yourself, a 58,000 euros son of Flemensfirth from a strong jumping family. He's obviously one to keep an eye on in the market and the competition doesn't look all that strong. Preseli Rock was a bit disappointing at Chepstow after a promising start at Ascot but may not have enjoyed the testing conditions though SHOTOFWINE looks a more likely winner. He had two promising starts for Henry Daly before changing hands for £75,000 at Cheltenham Sales and making his debut for Donald McCain at Catterick a fortnight ago. He had no answer to Southern Strife that day but the winner is well above average and he can go one better.
