This does not look much better than the first division of this contest, as is indicated by the likelihood that Rutledge Red will probably be made the favourite. On the strength of his second to Man Murphy at Catterick in January he has to be the TEAMtalk selection, a subsequent disappointing effort at Hexham was too bad to be true and is probably best ignored. Of the others Termonfeckin, who is probably the main danger, has run with credit in two starts in bumper company but the form of those races is nothing out of the ordinary and he is best watched for the time being. Top Of The Dee has been well beaten, despite finishing third, in his last two starts and is no better than moderate. The pick of those who are having their first start over hurdles is probably Denise Best.
