It's difficult to get away from WHISKEY CHASER after his demolition job in his recent starts here and at Leicester. Donald McCain's charge came home virtually alone on the track last time after galloping his rivals into the ground and a 5lb rise shouldn't prevent a hat-trick. Wood Yer has had a dozen starts over fences and won seven including his last two. There was much to like about his battling reappearance victory at Chepstow and he doesn't have to concede too much weight. Captain Flash has had very little experience but was well supported when landing a handicap at this level at Chepstow last month so he's a definite threat while Beauboreen had been threatening to win before an impressive victory over the course and distance last month. It's over a year since Ballybough Andy made a successful debut over fences at Huntingdon and he hasn't run since.
