Verdict

HIGH BENEFIT won with a bit in hand on her introduction to hurdles at Warwick last month. She looks the type to improve further with experience and is fancied to see off the challenge of Our Mick, who is sent over obstacles for the first time on the back of another solid bumper run at Market Rasen. Flinty Bay has been placed in both starts over timber and Loch Ba ran with promise on his racecourse debut, but Renard D'Irlande disappointed at Exeter after a decent effort on his hurdling debut at Stratford. Punchestown bumper winner Backspin has now joined Jonjo O'Neill and is one for the future, as is newcomer Sivola De Sivola.
