OLD MAGIC had clearly been showing a bit at home prior to last week's Chepstow success as he didn't go off un-backed. Sophie Leech's gelding is probably capable of better still now he's got his head in front and these are a modest bunch. It remains to be seen how much ability Bosamcliff retains while Flame Of Dixie hasn't competed since a better effort at Market Rasen in May, though is lightly-raced. Lean Burn is usually brushed aside without too much of a struggle and the others have very little to recommend them.
