Verdict

BOB FORD has been raised 7lb after scoring by a wide margin in the testing going at Uttoxeter last month under Harry Teal. But the latter can utilise his 5lb allowance today and Alastair Ralph’s charge is fancied to go in again given Knockoura’s recent success at Ayr came over a shorter trip and he has a 13lb hike in the weights to contend with. Rocco won at Stratford earlier and is another aided by a conditional’s allowance today but King Uther has something to prove having fallen at Exeter on his chasing bow, though the heavy ground will suit.
