This is a very competitive handicap with the weights headed by Clondaw Kaempfer, who won a Grade 3 at Aintree in April. Kentucky Hyden was second in the Triumph Hurdle in March while Foxcub is unlikely to be far away again. Somemothersdohavem didn't manage a win last season but was knocking on the door and can't be ignored. He's more interesting than Get It On and the maiden El Macca. FLICKA WILLIAMS was easy to back at Carlisle 10 days ago but ran a race full of promise. He won over course and distance last season and, with the slightly better ground in his favour, can come out on top again as Man Of Leisure and Bothy may need this.
