Verdict

John Betjeman’s strike-rate is off-putting but he was second at Wincanton last time when back on a winning mark. However, REWIRED (NAP) has found only one too good in his two runs in handicaps so far and is probably due a change of luck given he has improved this season. Kelso runner-up Barnabas Collins may need the mud to show his best and Brian Hughes is on board stablemate and handicap debutant Hidalgo De L'isle. Gwennie May Boy is also having a first run in handicap company after a win and a second in novice events here.
