Hazy Tom and Ely Brown landed point-to-point wins on successive days in February and the market should indicate expectations surrounding the pair on their bumper debuts. The interesting one here though is Hightown, trained by the shrewd Don Cantillon. Backed into favouritism for his bumper debut, the gelding finished a respectable fourth to the very useful Cinders and Ashes before disappointing next time at Huntingdon. He's been given a really good rest since and is worth chancing on his return. High Road makes most appeal on paper of the newcomers.
