Don McCain's Worth A King's won his second race over hurdles when successful in good fashion in a novices' hurdle at Uttoxeter last month and has every chance of scoring again but the four-year-old has a double penalty to carry after that success and may struggle to give weight away to SPIRIT OF ADJISA, who gets the vote with Twentypoundluck rated the pick of the remainder. The selection has shown a decent level of form in three starts over hurdles for Tim Vaughan, latterly when a close third behind Finian's Rainbow at Ascot and he can make the most of the weight that he receives from Worth A King's and gain a deserved first success. Betty's Run has shown little sign of aptitude so far over timber and of more interest may be Don McCain's Flicka's Witness, who is equally lightly raced but showed some promise on his first start over hurdles at Uttoxeter last month. Patrick Griffin's Irish point winner Twentypoundluck has to be of interest on his rules debut but Spirit of Adjisa has solid claims and looks the one that they all have to beat.
