Verdict
Rough Night is among the most exposed but won on his debut for Alex Hales at Lingfield and both starts since have come in decent handicap company. New Quay also has his sights lowered after contesting a Grade 3 at Ascot last month but this drop in distance is a concern given he won over 3m between the flags when a four-year-old. Mill Green must be vulnerable under a double penalty given he has a first run since July and both victories have come on quicker ground so the vote goes to QUOI DE NEUF. After winning at Aintree, Evan Williams’ five-year-old ran in a Grade 2 at Sandown and only weakened approaching the last. He will find this much easier and still has time on his side. Those Tiger Feet is capable of better and bumper winner Move Above is also worth a market check.
