This marathon has attracted a bumper entry but not many arrive in form. Double Dizzy is a possible exception having followed up a fourth over the cross-country fences at Cheltenham with a third in the Sussex National at Plumpton, albeit beaten more than 30 lengths. He has place prospects while Ten Fires is weighted to reverse Stratford running in the autumn with Present To You and was runner-up to Shaking Hands at Ffos Las last month. The ground will suit Chepstow second My Boy Paddy but age looks to have caught up with 15-year-old Victory Gunner and Tim The Chair has become disappointing. SHERWANI WOLF is still a maiden over fences but ran a lot better than the final result suggests at Chepstow last time and this longer trip may just suit. He could be worth an interest at decent odds.
