Verdict

Twice a winner on the all-weather earlier this year, Theonlywayiswessex ran well for a long way back over hurdles at Uttoxeter in July. Choirmaster came good over course and distance just over two weeks ago and jockey bookings suggest he’s preferred to stablemate VE Day but GOVERNOR GREEN struck up a good understanding with conditional Jay Tidball in the spring and Alastair Ralph’s charge has every chance of a second win over track and trip if fully wound-up. Cumhacht is still a maiden but he looks capable of going close again off his current mark.
