Verdict

Man With Van was third over hurdles at Perth last month but it’s a long time since he showed any worthwhile form over fences. No Likey is getting long in the tooth to be trying a new trip but Rebel Rebellion stays well, though was well beaten back in a handicap at Worcester in June. Super Scorpion may be too high in the weights now but West Wizard was aimed too high on his reappearance at Uttoxeter and should find this company more to his liking. Donald McCain’s string is going really well and THE CLOCK LEARY won over 2m4f here in May before finding a rejuvenated Earthmoves too strong in a strongly-run race at Market Rasen. He’s gone up another 7lb but this may prove his best trip going forward.
