Balmoral Queen, Very Special One and Blackcomb Mountain are three against the field in this wide open finale and the vote is given to Very Special One. The selection was a fair third behind Princess Grec last time out, looks sure to be suited by this longer trip and under conditions that suit looks the one to be on. Balmoral Queen rates the main danger on her best form but she took a crashing fall last time out and it is hard to know if her confidence will have been effected and at likely odds she looks worth taking on. Blackcomb Mountain was a fair third behind Giovana last time and is another with place claims but the step up in trip has to be of concern. Of the remainder The Merry Mason has dropped to a handy mark and could go well at a price but consistency is not his strong point and for the winner we return to Very Special One.
