Verdict
James Bowen partnered Deadly Move to five wins between the flags and rides the eight-year-old under Rules for the first time today. His 7lb claim will help but his mount has now been a beaten favourite the last twice off similar marks. Hepijeu doesn’t win as often as he should and is still 7lb higher than when successful at Huntingdon in the spring while Minella Forfitness was below par last month at Southwell. RALEAGH MOUNTAIN has been raised 3lb since beaten by Sage Monkey here on his UK debut but that run should have blown away any cobwebs and the Irish import gets another chance.
