In depth

Verdict

HARTSIDE is the only three-year-old in the line-up but will be very difficult to beat. Having won a 1m4f handicap on heavy ground at Tramore by 11l, he showed that stamina is no problem when defying a penalty over 2m at Wexford on Friday. Another 5lb penalty shouldn't be a problem and this could be his optimum trip. Marlos Moment gained his first-ever victory on his 25th start at Roscommon last Monday when Boxer Beat was behind but connections won't be pleased with an 8lb rise. Narjawa was in cracking form at this time a year ago but has been running poorly over hurdles. He's been given a break and back on a suitable rating is capable of better than he's been showing.
